Please join us for a holiday benefit performance for one night only on Sunday, December 20th at 4:30pm at Gorilla Tango Theatre, 1919 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago 60647. Tickets are $10 (cash only); to reserve tickets call 773-598-4549 or visit www.gorillatango.com. In lieu of attendence, you may make a donation here. While it will appear that you are purchasing a ticket, you are actually making a donation. Tickets are only available through the Gorilla Tango box office.

Hanuchristmakanzika II will benefit Imagination Theater, a non-profit organization that provides diverse audiences with dynamic, participatory programming. They enhance well-being and create a more civil, safe society. Hanuchristmakanzika II will be a holiday-themed, PG-13 comedy show featuring hilarious stand-up comics and sketch comedy you won’t want to miss.

Jeremy Schaefer frequently performs at The Improv Playhouse and does stand-up comedy in venues around Chicago and London. His credits include Big Picture Group's True/False, First Folio Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors, Janus Theatre's Laramie Project, and Piven Theatre's Storybox. He is an ensemble member of both Imagination Theatre and pH Productions. He's also been an assistant teacher of CIF Productions Summer Theatre Camp. Bryan Bowden is a member of Blewt! Productions. Bryan created and performed the character Timekeeper Willis for Blewt’s crazy live game show Don’t Spit the Water which has wowed audiences at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York, the New York Fringe Festival, and the Comedy Central Stage in Los Angeles as well as pulling an impressive four year run in Chicago. Currently, Bryan has performed stand-up all over Chicago: The Lincoln Lodge, Chicago Underground Comedy, The Edge Comedy Showcase, Bronzeville Coffee House, Zanies Comedy Club, and much more. He also teaches stand-up to high school students, middle school students, and adults at Second City. Ricky Carmona is a founding member of Salsation!, Chicago’s only all-latino sketch comedy improv troupe which is currently celebrating its ten year anniversary. In the world of standup comedy Ricky has performed at some of the biggest comedy clubs in the city such as Zanies and the Improv, the biggest alternative rooms such as CHUC & The Lincoln Lodge, as well as performing and travelling across the country. Ricky also is a regular performer with Mikey O. Comedy Productions and is one of the seminal members of CHUC, Chicago Underground Comedy, and can be seen performing with them regularly. David Kovac is a classically trained actor and former street juggler, whose voice and likeness have been featured in numerous television and radio commercials. Based in Chicago for over 15 years, Mr. Kovac is perhaps best known for his work as a modern-day vaudevillian, combining humorous monologues with random acts of magic. Locally, he has appeared in a variety of venues; Second City, Odyssey Cruise Ship, The Green Mill, Navy Pier, The Lincoln Lodge, Metro … This past November, Mr. Kovac debuted his latest performance piece, Fooling Buddha, produced by Sandy Marshall. This original work, which included new music from Chicago jazzmen Tim Green and Greg Fundis, played to standing room only crowds in the Theater/ Lecture Hall of Magic Inc. on Lincoln Avenue. Charles Grodin is a long form improvisation troupe featuring Philip Amler, Eric Pedersen, Joe Hartenstein, James Tierney, and Lars Weborg; they were also on the Harold team Electric Mayhem at the iO Theatre. They've performed at as many venues as possible, including The Playground, Haystack Vintage, Studio Be, Gorilla Tango, The Cornservatory, Chemically Imbalanced Comedy, The Pressure Cafe, The Spot, Mullen's, Sheffield's, Fizz Bar, Crocodile Lounge, Molly Malone's, and Rumble Arts. The strippers in Strippers' Picnic have been performing together as a group since September 2007, and have been working together in various classes at iO (formerly ImprovOlympic), The Annoyance Theater and Second City. They have performed at the following Chicago establishments: iO, Chemically Imbalanced Theater, The Playground, the Cornservatory, Gorilla Tango Theater, and The Bryan Room at Goodbar. They also performed at the last two Del Close Marathon (August 2008, August 2009), the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival (March 2009), and the Chicago Improv Festival (April 2009).
